Where is the third door?

Description

There are a couple of themes that I've attempted to communicate here. Firstly that of religious intolerance specifically that of the catholic church against homosexuality and most importantly lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender rights, as seen in the third and missing door that has been bricked up with an X on it. Secondly the religious discrimination against woman who don't have equal rights within the church, as seen in the use of a second separate door off to the left of the centered and more prominent men's entrance. And thirdly that of dogma and belief that in many an eye is harmful, detrimental, discriminatory and everything that is wrong with the current state of human virtues. This last theme can be seen in the signage that is usually associated with toilets and human bodily functions, which the church is also dead set against, that of the normal bodily development and function which is waste.

This work is not meant to be offensive although it is extremely disrespectful of a belief that is not mine but is intended to make you think about how we all interact with each other and how we cannot find common ground to live and work with each other until we can accept everyone for who they are and not what they believe, and I do include myself in this, so I give you my opposing view of a religion that imposes it will on others.
